The compartments sit above a run of seven apothecary-style drawers, each fitted with a darkly patinated iron ring pull. The entire case is raised on four squared and straight legs. The piece is joined entirely with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, and the timber has been left natural in its warm honey-toned finish. The case is solid and heavy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The wood construction appears to be reclaimed teak or elm from Southeast Asia.
