Remarkable 19th century Louis Philippe farmhouse work table. Made in the country French style this versatile table could serve as a writing table, breakfast table, or console. Crafted from fruitwood with a lovely faded, and aged patina on the the finish that showcases the woodgrains. The case has a plank top with an ogee edge and is fronted by a small storage drawer. Supported by beautifully turned legs ending with peg feet. The table has strong joinery and a distinctive profile. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA. Ample leg clearance measuring 25 inches from the floor to the apron.
