19th Century Pair of English Georgian Mahogany Demilune Console Tables


Gorgeous pair of 19th century English demilune console tables or center table crafted from radiant mahogany. Originally ends of a grand refectory table made in the elegant George III taste. The pair of consoles are elegant with a simple design without inlay or decoration which showcases the radiant woodgrains on the frieze. The tops are supported by long tapered legs. The tables measure 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a beautifully aged patina. The tops have wear and stains that commensurate the age giving the tables character and charm. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
