19th Century French Provincial Oak Trestle Farmhouse Dining Table


Quintessential 19th century country French Provincial farmhouse dining table. Constructed from rich oak with wood peg joinery. The top features 1.75 inch thick solid planks of oak with radiant grain patterns and knots. Supported by a substantial trestle style base with large turned legs on each corner ending with bun feet. The legs are conjoined by a thick H shaped stretcher. The table has two storage drawers with iron ring pulls on one side. The oak has a beautiful rustic aged patina with age cracks in the wood adding to its charm and character. The table has a Classic farmhouse profile and ample legroom measuring 23 inches from floor to apron. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
