19th Century French Painted Long Case Grandfather Clock


Whimsical 19th century French painted long case clock featuring a parcel gilt finish. Decorated with large carved rosettes and a narrow frame that opens in the middle. The clock housing has a corniced top and opens to reveal a beautifully decorated brass repousse face with two birds on top and a laurel wreath crest. The clock has been painted French blue and has a lovely distressed finish. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
