19th Century French Oak Farmhouse Trestle Dining Table


Handsome 19th century country French farmhouse dining table or refectory table featuring a trestle base. Beautifully crafted oak with wood peg joinery and exposed mortise and Tenon joinery on the trestle conjoining the shaped legs. The top is made of thick 1.75 inch planks of oak with bread board ends on each side. The base and top are conjoined by handcrafted iron bolts. The thick baluster form legs end with shoe feet for a Classic European farmhouse profile. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
