19th Century French Louis XVI Style Chaise Longue Daybed


Gorgeous 19th century French chaise longue or daybed made in the Louis XVI taste. Features a hand carved walnut frame with a flat back an arched crest rail. The arms gracefully curve down ending with scrolls and attach to a large seating area topped with an oversized loose seat cushion. The lounge is fully upholstered with a silk fabric, probably Fortuny. Bordered with brass tack nail heads around the frame. Supported by eight fluted and tapered legs. From an estate in Hollywood, CA.
