19th Century French Louis Philippe Fruitwood Farmhouse Harvest Table


Distinctive 19th century French Louis Philippe farmhouse harvest work table crafted from fruitwood. This versatile table was a workhorse in the French kitchen. The top is constructed from 1 inch thick planks conjoined to the case. One side of the table has a storage drawer in the center with a round brass pull. The table is supported by highly decorative turned legs ending with ball feet. These tables were typically made low measuring 22 inches from the floor to the apron. The rich fruitwood grain patterns are showcased throughout with a dark finish. This table could also serve as a desk, writing table, console, or display. This table has a gorgeous profile with an aged patina full of character and charm.
