19th Century French Green Glass Winery Demijohn


Large French handblown demijohn or carboy with a rich, green glass color. Features a hand-painted semillon varietal label painted on the front. Constructed with a 1" thick neck glass where it was snapped off. These huge French bottles were free blown and left with rough unfinished lips. Decoration appears to be from the early 1900s, France in the St. Emilion region.
