19th Century English William IV Mahogany Leather Bench Seat

Extraordinary 19th century English William IV bench seat crafted from mahogany. The bench features a leather covered seat and padded armrest bordered with brass tack nail heads. The bench is constructed from radiant grained mahogany with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The wood finish has a rich, aged patina and is complimented by leather with an aged, weathered finish but soft and supple feel. The arms end with large, gracefully curved scrolls conjoining to the seat. The seat is supported by turned legs in the front ending with peg feet. Lovely bench, nicely transitioned style of the Regency period from an estate in Bel Air, CA.
