19th Century English Victorian Brass Fireplace Footman Trivet

Very heavy and solid 19th century English victorian period brass fireplace footman or trivet. Weighing approximately 40 pounds made with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Lovely patinated brass finish with pits, stains, and verdigris that add to its character and charm. Remarkable piece from the Napa Valley, CA estate of Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022).
