19th Century English Regency Lacquered Console by Ira Yeager
$4,800.00
Whimsical 19th century English regency console table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The table features a serpentine case with a conforming top having an ogee edge. The case is fronted by a large storage drawer with a colored glass pull. Supported by elegant square legs that are conjoined by x form stretchers. Ira Yeager loved painting 19th century period furniture to play at his gallery alongside his French provincial artworks. The console is painstakingly finished on all sides with a festive mustard yellow over a black ground. The lacquer finish is thick with a clear coat gloss finish. Provenance: From the Yager Gallerie in Calistoga, CA.
