19th Century English Mahogany Privacy Desk Writing Table


A rare 19th century English desk made of oak with a clam-shell top and side walls that lock into place with brass hardware. The carved privacy walls have a gentle curved edge and the case is fronted by one large drawer and a frame detailed case. The desk sits on turned and fluted legs. Each side has a push button mechanism to release and fold down the side panels, and the top panel has a locking arm release. Unique style of writing table that folds discreetly and function as a common desk.
