19th Century English Mahogany Bobbin Leg Console Table


Handsome 19th century English console table, work table, or writing table made in the George IV taste. Constructed from radiant grained mahogany featuring elegant, tapered bobbin-turned legs. The case has a mahogany veneered front frieze with a false drawer. The leg opening measures 22 inches from the floor to the apron. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a rich finish and dramatic profile from an estate in San Francisco, CA. Small enough to fit just about anywhere this versatile little table could also serve as a small writing desk.
