19th Century Country French Provincial Walnut Farmhouse Dining Table


Distinctive 19th century French provincial farmhouse harvest table or dining table. Constructed from walnut with a large plank top having breadboard ends. The trestle style base has storage drawers on each end and was used in a provincial kitchen as a work table and dining table. Made with wood peg joinery the thick, square legs are chamfered and conjoined by an H-shaped stretcher. The table has rich, deep woodgrains and an aged patina full of character and charm.
