19th Century Country French Provincial Mahogany Bench Seat


Gorgeous 19th century country French provincial bench seat crafted from mahogany. The bench features a beautifully carved frame decorated with Louis XV style rocaille shells on each side and elegant cabriole legs decorated with acanthus. The wood has a dark rich finish and lovely aged patina. Newly upholstered with a light moss green fabric with white pen stripes. Very solid with strong joinery.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery. New fabric with age appropriate wear on the wood finish. Very minor small chips, but very good condition given age and use as seen in photos.
