Gorgeous mid-19th century country French provincial farmhouse dining table hand-crafted from radiant fruitwood with wood peg joinery. This amazing example has a beautifully aged patina of soft, warm honey tones on the wood. Full of character and charm with desirable wear. Age cracks, insect damage and stains all add to its je ne sais quoi. The thick plank top has classic breadboard ends. One end of the table has a small storage drawer and the opposite side has a pull-out cutting board. Supported by elegant tapered legs that have been professionally repaired with new feet or bottoms that are difficult to see. Very solid and stable with ample leg room measuring 24.5 inches from the floor to the apron. Wonderful example with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a lovely aged patina and European farmhouse profile.
