Rustic 19th century country French farmhouse dining table crafted from rough cut oak timbers. The top is 2.5 inches thick and notched to a large trestle base. The trestle features massive legs ending with shoe feet conjoined by an exposed mortise and tenon joinery stretcher. The trestle has old world style peg joinery and wood dowel joints. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a desirable distressed patina on the finish. The oak timbers have age cracks, splits, and shrinkage adding to its rustic character and charm. The table is very heavy and solid with a classic European farmhouse profile and finish.

Condition: Distressed, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong joinery. Aged, distressed patina with age cracks, shrinkage, and wear as seen in photos. Heavy and solid.
