19th Century Country French Chestnut Farmhouse Dining Table


Rustic 19th century country French farmhouse dining table crafted from chestnut. Made in the Provincial style having a thick, nearly 2 inch plank top showcasing the rich chestnut grain patterns and knots. The trestle style base has a drawer in the frieze with an iron pull. The top is supported by thick, chunky turned legs ending with bun feet. The legs are conjoined by a large H shaped stretcher. Beautifully constructed with wood peg joinery and a rich warm finish. The sides measure 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron for ample legroom. Full of charm and character with a Classic European farmhouse profile.
