19th Century Country English Pine Welsh Dresser with Cupboard


Two-part weathered 19th century country English welsh dresser cabinet or sideboard buffet crafted from pine. Beautifully aged with a desirable patina on the pine finish. The sideboard dresser has two large storage drawers with two doors below opening to a pot board storage area. The cupboard has a three shelf case decorated with stylized leaves, wheels, stars, and a heart in the center. The corniced top is supported by highly carved, decorative corbels. The dresser has shoe feet that protrude on the front corners. The drawers and doors have patinated brass pulls. Original import label from Michael Davis shipping for Tennant Gallery, London from the 20th century affixed to drawer. The cabinet has a lovely profile and patina with a charming provincial aesthetic. From an estate in Malibu, CA.
