19th Century Country English Pine Paneled Hall Settle Bench


Rustic early 19th century country English hall settle or bench. Constructed from pine with mortise and tenon joinery and wood peg joinery. The thick pine has a beautifully aged patina and soft feel. The straight back is decorated with panels. Graceful thick arms curve down on each side of the case which is fronted by two large storage drawers with brass pulls. The bench sits on flat feet supporting the legs. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.

Condition: Distressed, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a beautifully aged, distressed patina as seen in photos.
