18th Century Country French Provincial Oak Farmhouse Trestle Dining Table

Rustic 18th century country French provincial farmhouse dining or harvest table crafted from oak. The farm table features a trestle style base with large turned legs and curved stretchers conjoined by a long center stretcher. The case has a storage drawer on each end. The 3 plank top is 1 inch thick with breadboard ends. Constructed with wood peg joinery and reinforced at a later date with iron brackets. The table is very heavy, strong, and stable with old repairs underneath as expected. Lovely aged and distressed desirable patina and European farmhouse profile. Would also serve as a console display table. The table measures 23 inches on the sides from the floor to the apron.
