17th Century Louis XIII Period Oak Refectory Dining Table


Stunning and rare example of a Louis XIII refectory or dining table with strong hand-carved base and floral medallions on the frieze. A magnificent age defined French oak plank top. Table has minor cracks and old repairs as expected for a piece of its age. Leaf and associated mechanism later produced, likely 19th century. Measures: 24.5" leaf totals 77" W. Antique oak has a lovely patina and finish.
