English Aesthetic Movement Faux Bamboo Marble Top Chest


Grand 19th century English Aesthetic movement faux bamboo pine chest featuring a Carrara marble top. The large commode measures 48 inches wide and 40 inches high. The case is fitted with four storage drawers having white porcelain pulls. Beautifully crafted with intricate carved bamboo moldings throughout. The thick marble top has a large crack in the middle as seen in photos. The chest is constructed from pine with solid joinery and a desirable aged patina on the finishes full of character and charm.
