Colorful Japanese Showa period four-panel folding screen depicting a pair of Manchurian red-crowned cranes perched in a pine tree. Crafted on a dramatic gilt square background with ink and color pigments. Set in a lacquered wood frame with a silk brocade border. Made in the Nihonga school style.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age appropriate wear. The back has a loss on the paper as seen in photos.
