Gorgeous Chinese export 12 panel coromandel style screen featuring an image of Han Palace. The screen is intentionally aged and distressed to appear as an 18th-century Qing dynasty screen depicting Weiyang palace landscape. Crafted from veneered panels intricately incised with color and parcel gilt decoration. The walled palace is bordered by scholars objects. The screen is supported by square legs ending with patinated brass-clad feet. The monumental screen is 16 feet wide laid flat and nearly 8 feet tall. The magnificent screen is beautifully crafted with the character and charm of a qing dynasty 18th-century piece. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
