A handsome Country English style sofa, settee, or loveseat designed by Ralph Lauren. The Somerville sofa features a soft gracefully arched double back, generous English rolled arms, and two fitted loose seat cushions. The front legs are turned and mounted on patinated brass casters and the rear legs are splayed. The settee is upholstered in in a richly textured camel and brown tweed houndstooth wool fabric with subtle burgundy and olive stripe accents. The sofa includes two thick fitted seat cushions and three oversized plush throw pillows. The design exemplifies the traditional English, Country House, and Equestrian styles. The sofa presents beautifully in a traditional library, study, or living room. Ralph Lauren tag is present below the seat cushion as pictured. Arms measure 22" tall. The frame is sturdy and strong having excellent joinery and craftsmanship.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Age-appropriate wear with minor scuffs on the legs, and a few tiny holes to side of the sofa that are very difficult to see. Minor light creasing and light wear to cushions as expected.
