Fantastic Mid-Century Modern iron patio and garden settee sofa by Mario Papperzini for John Salterini. The iconic settee features an iron frame with a hand-hammered finish and a gorgeous nickel patina. The seats have slat ladder back style supports with adjustable slant back. The back and arms have whimsical round ball finials of varying size. The flat arms measure 21 inches high. The frame is topped with thick seat cushions covered with a sea green suede leather. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a patinated metal finish. The legs are conjoined by gracefully curved demilune stretchers. Matching pair of lounge chairs also available. Vintage seat cushions do not appear to be original.
