Graceful and elegant set of ten 19th century English dining chairs crafted in the Biedermeier taste. The chairs feature solid mahogany frames with classic round backs. The frames are surprisingly heavy and solid with later added cognac leather seats having brass tack nail head borders. The seats are supported by Regency style turned legs in the front ending with peg feet. The chairs have a dramatic profile with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The mahogany has a desirable aged patina on the rich, dark finish. The set consists of all side chairs. Sold as a set of ten. Distinctive chairs with a transitional Biedermeier/Regency aesthetic.
