Set of Four Rose Tarlow Style Twig Iron Garden Dining Armchairs

Whimsical set of four iron patio and garden armchairs made in the style and manner of Rose Tarlow and Gregorius Pineo. Hand-crafted by a foundry in Los Angeles, CA. The chairs feature large wrought iron frames with a neoclassical style geometric lattice inset on the seat and backs. The frames have gracefully curved hump seat backs with a crested rail, conjoined to scrolled arms. The generous seat is supported by cabriole legs in the front and back. The legs are conjoined by curved demi-lune stretchers. The finish shows a desirable time-worn patinated finish of aged darkened iron with some light oxidation adding depth and authenticity. Inspired by Mario Papperzini's Italian design and others in the Neoclassical and European Garden styles. The chairs are suitable for a variety of in and outdoor spaces with a distinctive, well-heeled profile. The arms measure 25.5" tall. The chairs have sturdy and solid joinery. Sold a a set of four.
