Set of Eight Eames Mid-Century Chrome Armchairs by Vitra


Chic set of eight armchairs designed in the 50s by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Authorized and produced today in Switzerland by Vitra model number EA 108. The chairs feature a highly polished cast aluminium frame with a chrome finish. The ergonomic chairs swivel and are upholstered with a synthetic white fabric called net weave. The fabric slings are comfortable, breathable, and semi-transparent. Supported by a four leg star-shaped base the generous seats are also equipped with a handle on the backs of the frame. The chairs have a deep chrome finish patina with maker's labels on bottoms. Versatile chairs could also serve as dining chairs.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age appropriate wear as seen in photos. Age appropriate wear and fading.
