Queen Anne Style Ebonized Chinoiserie Tea Table


Dramatic ebonized Queen Anne style tea table or side table. Decorated in the Chinoiserie revival period of the late 19th century Europe. The frieze decorated with gilt acanthus scrolling foliage and a cross hatch pattern. A delicate gilt flower is in the central rosette of each side. Supported by long, elegant cabriole legs which terminate in pad feet. Topped with a small galleried edge with peaked corners. The table has a lovely distressed lacquer patina that adds to the character and charm of the piece. From an estate in Corona Del Mar, CA.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Age appropriate wear with a lovely distressed lacquer patina and significant paint loss throughout. Minor separation to top corners.
