A pair of exquisitely crafted "duVal-Alexander" club lounge chairs (Model 1221A) by McKinnon and Harris, hand-crafted from high-performance aluminum. Introduced in 2006, the "duVal-Alexander" lounge chair combines the iconic "duVal" shelter silhouette with the more compact proportions of the "Alexander" line, producing a luxurious cocoon-like club chair. Each distinctive chair frame features an elegant latticed trellis back in a broad and flared low-slung profile. The chairs are finished in a soft greige or taupe powder coat over the company's architectural-grade weather resistant undercoat. The pair is completed with loose seat and back cushions in a neutral off-white, creating a beautiful two-tone contrast with the chairs. Each chair is signed and labeled with a cast bronze McKinnon and Harris plaque. Adjustable polymer glides allow leveling on uneven terrain. Handcrafted by master artisans at the company's Richmond, Virginia workshop, the pair is hand-shaped out of high-performance aluminum with strong and durable joinery. Crafted in a luxurious modern Neoclassical style, the resort-style pair is well-suited for use poolside, on a terrace, patio, loggia, or indoor-outdoor spaces. Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong joinery and solid construction. Good condition with age-appropriate wear including light surface marks and small scuffs to frames that are difficult to see. Cushions present well with minor marks and creasing.
