Mid-century modern pair of Italian Savonarola armchairs with neoclassical style curule legs. The chairs are crafted from wrought iron with a dimpled finish and dimpled finials on the arms and back for a dramatic profile. The x frames are fitted with black leather slings on the seat and back. The leather arm slings measure 23 inches high and the arm finials measure 25.5 inches high. Sturdy and strong with a handsome profile. Sold as a pair. Also known s Dante chairs.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction as seen in photos. Age appropriate wear with minor scuffs to finish and minor stretching to upholstery. One old repair to bottom of seat that is not visible.
