Pair of Bamboo Rattan Brighton Pavilion Style Armchairs


Distinctive pair of bamboo rattan barrel back armchairs made in the grand Brighton pavilion style. The mid-century chairs feature a bamboo rattan frame with decorative Chinese Chippendale style open fretwork designs. The chairs have a caned seat and leather laces reinforcing the exposed joints instead of wicker. Perfect Hollywood regency accessory with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The rattan has a beautifully aged patina on the finish. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Each chair includes a faded vintage loose seat cushion.
