A refined Rue De Seine Cocktail Table designed by Holly Hunt measuring over 5 feet square. The bespoke table features a segmented 4-piece pale limestone top set within a hand-forged iron base. The substantial square top is composed of four inset limestone panels with soft natural veining and a light ivory-grey coloration, mounted on a dark forged patinated iron frame, creating a grid across the top surface. The top is supported by six slender tapering iron legs with squared collars and hand-formed feet in the style and manner of Giacometti. The iron finish retains an industrial milled texture with wear and oxidation from age. The custom piece is crafted in a French neoclassical style reminiscent of French iron garden furniture, well suited to use indoors or outdoors. The table is sturdy and heavy with solid joinery and construction. The natural stone and iron have a desirable soft patinated, weathered finish as seen in photos.
