Handsome Georgian style Isle of Man or Manx tripod center table crafted from mahogany. The 19th century table features a round tilt-top supported by a pedestal tripod form base with whimsical human shaped legs and shoed feet. The top has a bird cage mechanism to tilt the top with patinated brass hardware. The bird cage has had reinforcement screws on each side to make it more stable. The screws can be easily removed to operate the tilt-top. The round top also rotates. The table has a lovely aged patina and distinctive profile that could also serve as a dining table or occasional table.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with age appropriate wear. Tilt top has been secured with two screws long ago that have to be removed to operate the tilt that reinforces the top. Age appropriate wear with very minor chips, scuffs, and scratches.
