Fornasetti Four Panel Screen Armadio Aperto Open Cabinet


Iconic and rare Piero Fornasetti four panel screen made in Milano, Italy. Mid-century modern lithograph transfer print on painted wooden panels. Titled Armadio Aperto or open cabinet and features a trompe l'oeil depiction of a wooden closet stuffed with sporting equipment and outerwear. The reverse side features a neoclassical framed wall with open windows viewing a Mediterranean seascape. The wooden panels are conjoined with brass hardware, hinges, and are supported by casters.
