Impressive country French provincial farmhouse dining table crafted from thick planks of fruitwood. The table features a trestle style base with distinctive turned legs from 4 inch thick square poles. The legs are conjoined by long stretchers and end with bun feet. The top of the table has 1.5 inch thick boards with a beveled top edge and is inset with planks down the middle. Made in a refectory table style with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Ample leg room measuring 25 inches from the floor to the apron on the sides. The fruitwood has a lovely warm patina showcasing the woodgrain patterns. Substantial and solid with a European farmhouse profile.
