The screen has a gilt background in the center that has faded into a rich hue accented by muted colors of added reds and teal. Bordered with scholars objects, potted plants, flowers, and mythical beast. The lacquer finish has a lovely distressed aged finish with craquelure. Supported by brass-clad feet.
