A handsome French Provincial farmhouse dining table, hand-crafted in 19th century France from richly patinated chestnut and oak. The table features a rectangular 1 inch thick plank top displaying beautiful natural grain and figuring, old tool and use marks, and authentic toning and lived-in wear. The apron below houses a single frieze drawer with a traditional turned wood pull. The table is supported by simple square-cut legs that are gently tapered and show visible corner joinery. Crafted in a rustic French Provincial Country style, the versatile table is well-suited for use as a dining table, desk or console in a variety of spaces.
