Remarkable country French farmhouse dining table featuring a 1.5-inch thick top having round demilune ends. The top has an ogee edge and notches on each side where the demi-lunes originate. Supported by a trestle base with baluster form legs that are squared ending with arched shoe feet. The legs are conjoined by a long flat stretcher. Very heavy and solid with strong joinery. Made on a large scale with a desirable weathered patina on the bleached finish. The graceful rounded ends compliment and soften the rustic style of the table. Lovely European farmhouse profile and "euro skinny" dimensions.
