19th Century Country French Parquet Dining Table Os de Mouton Legs

Magnificent 19th century country French provincial farmhouse dining table featuring an oak parquet top supported by Louis XIII style Os de Mouton legs. This grand table has two extending leaves measuring 21.5 inches each making the table extend from 96.5 inches wide to 139.5 inches wide or 11.5 feet. The top measures 1.5 inches thick with a geometric inset of parquetry. Each end of the table has a large storage drawer with an iron pull that also supports the extending leaves. The drawers function properly with updated rails. The top is supported by a Baroque style trestle base having gracefully curved Os de mouton legs. The parquet top and Os de Mouton legs compliment the country provincial aesthetic. The oak has a rich aged patina with desirable wear that further compliments the style.
