Handsome mid-century modern pedestal coffee cocktail table produced by Buccola Bros. in Alhambra, California. The table features a thick slab of round "Rosa Poente" Portuguese marble with a honed finish and a subtle soft pink tone. The marble is supported by a baluster pedestal with a thick turned column. The walnut column is mounted to a gracefully curved star-shaped plinth base ending with gilt finished bun feet. The table is heavy and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The marble top has fascinating veins and color measuring 3 feet in diameter. Marble and bases are both labeled on bottoms. From an original one-owner estate in San Francisco, California in exceptional condition given age and use.
