Grand English haberdashery store boutique display cabinet or bookcase crafted from oak on a monumental scale. The case measures over 18 feet wide with upper and lower open-shelved storage areas. The top of the cases feature a cornice molding with pilaster column style supports that are reeded. The bottom cases are fronted by 18 small storage drawers with patinated brass pulls. Originally fitted with sliding glass doors that have been removed and only have the tracks inset on the oak now. Removed from an English shop this versatile display could serve as a display cabinet, bookcase, or large bar back. Each end has a paneled cap that is finished on the sides. Breaks down into smaller sizes for transport and installation. Impressive size and scale.
