Charming diminutive English Queen Anne style vanity dressing table featuring an Asian lacquer decorated case made in the 19th century Chinoiserie revival period of Western Europe. The small desk has a flip-top storage bin. The center of the case has a small pull out writing table with a leather writing surface and decorative gilt trim. The desk is centered by a storage drawer and one smaller storage drawer on the right side. The case has a serpentine front and decorative carved serpentine apron. Embellished with idyllic Asian scenes in parcel gilt with a dramatic red ground. The vanity has solid construction and joinery with an aged patina on the lacquer finish to commensurate its age and use. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
