Japanese Showa Four Panel Table Screen Noble Procession

Fascinating Japanese Showa period for panel table screen depicting a procession of guards, nobles and attendants. Vibrant ink and color natural pigments on mulberry paper with gold flecks throughout. The characters have applied labels affixed to the screen as seen in photos. The painting is set in a black lacquer ebonized frame with a rose gold silk brocade border and a thin silver accent band. The wood frame has patinated brass corner protectors. The screen is in well preserved, very good condition with light stains, light fading, and foxing on the paper.
