The painting features white Manchurian cranes among pines and flowering plum centered by a dramatic waterfall. Ink and natural pigment colors over an impressive gilt background. Signed by artist Keidai with a seal on the right side bottom. Painted in the Kano school style with intricate details. The painting has an aged patina with small losses and old repairs to commensurate age and use. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
