Set of Six Bronze Lions Head Garden Chairs After Giacometti

Rare and opulent set of six mid-century modern Italian wrought iron garden dining armchairs featuring bronze mounted lions heads after Diego Giacometti. The Tetes de lionnes chairs feature an off-white painted frame having patinated cast bronze mounted lion head finials on the arms and the legs ending with patinated bronze lions paw feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a desirable aged patina and verdigris on the finish. The set includes vintage performance fabric seat cushions and small back pads which are faded and show signs of wear. The seats have a very solid lattice bottom and arms measuring 27.5 inches high. Very rare to find a matching set. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
