Rare set of four 20th century organic modern dining chairs designed by Ralph Lauren known as Joshua Tree chairs. They feature a rattan frame wrapped with an abaca hemp style rope. The thick braids are crafted from leaves that are woven together to make a large rope with an amazing natural texture. The chairs have a barrel back waisted form with good strong joinery. The seats are topped with fitted loose seat cushions in a white fabric. Beautifully hand-crafted modern style grounded in natural materials with a rich aged patina.
